Aims
Unlike Labour, the Conservative Party is not funded by Unions. Instead, we rely on the generosity of our committed supporters and activists to promote Conservative values across the UK.
The Stroud Patrons’ Club exists to provide financial support to the Stroud Conservative Association enabling the Association to return Conservative candidates to the House of Commons, European Parliament, Gloucestershire County Council and Stroud District council.
The prosperity of a strong and vigorous Conservative Party within the constituency is without doubt in the national interest. The Party can only fulfil its role if it is adequately supported and financed at both national and local levels.

Stroud Patrons welcomes applications for membership from people of all walks of life who are interested in supporting the future of the Stroud Conservative Association and the wider Conservative Party.
Stroud Patrons is an exclusive group of local Conservative Party supporters. Patrons membership includes your subscription to the Conservative Party but does not necessarily mean becoming involved in the day-to-day business of the Association - although you are very welcome to do so if you wish.
We typically host TWO drinks receptions per annum within the constituency at no additional cost to our Patrons and usually including the attendance some interesting guests for you to meet from both the political and business worlds.
