Fair elections are fundamental to our democracy. Underpinning this fairness is a law (PPERA 2000) that strictly limits the amount that each Party is permitted to spend on an election. Gloucestershire Conservatives have set up the Election Expenditure Monitoring Team with the aim of supporting fair elections in Cheltenham by monitoring the expenditure of all parties.
