As its name suggests, the main town in the constituency is Tewkesbury, but other areas include Twyning, Ashchurch, Bishop's Cleeve, Winchcombe, Prestbury, Brockworth, Churchdown, Innsworth and Longlevens. The town is home to a former Benedictine monastery and the second largest parish church in the country – Tewkesbury Abbey.
Tewkesbury also claims Gloucestershire's oldest public house, the Black Bear, dating from 1308, as well as many notable Tudor buildings.
Tewkesbury Conservative Association is a voluntary body that promotes the election of Conservatives to elected positions in Tewkesbury.
