Patrons Festive Dinner 2025

Please join us for our Festive Patrons Dinner, which will be on Friday 28th November at 6.30 for 7.00 p.m. at The Bistro Restaurant of the Hotel du Vin.

We will also be holding a raffle and mini-auction on the night.  Many of you have been particularly generous in the past with raffle and auction prizes, and I would welcome donations please.

The dress code will be lounge suit and cocktail dress.

Our guest speaker will be Sir John Redwood.  

Brief Biography: Sir John was Secretary of State for Wales, Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade and served as the MP for Wokingham from 1987 t0 2024, when he stood down.  Sir John was in Margaret Thatcher's Number 10 Policy Unit.  He is a veteran Eurosceptic and in 1993 was described as a 'pragmatic Thatcherite'.  It will be fascinating to hear Sir John speak as he is someone with such a huge range of experience.

The Bistro is in the basement of the hotel and is fully accessible. We have a microphone available for our speaker and there is plenty of street parking, which is free from 6.00 p.m.
