It's been confirmed that Idsall Drive Car Park is now up for sale for £100,000.

The Lib Dem-run Cheltenham Borough Council has stated that the car park is "surplus to our operational requirement", in spite of the car park being crucial to the community as it provides free parking and access to the high street and St Mary's Church.

The administration at the Council says it is strapped for cash, despite wasting taxpayers' money on the failed £1.8m Boots Corner experiment, and the Lib Dems increasing the amount of council allowances going to their own party.

Cllr Stephan Fifield and Campaigner Laura Haley are 100% against the sale. We think that the Council should get its priorities right.
